Skip the sewing! PAIHO® offers no-sew hook and loop fasteners as an alternative to buttons, zippers, and snaps. Choose from solvent-activated (SA), radio frequency (RF), or iron-on DT-1 options. |
1. Solvent Activated (SA) Hook & Loop: The Chemical Bond Solvent Activated (SA) hook and loop features a dry adhesive coating that is activated by a solvent, typically MEK (methyl ethyl ketone). This chemical reaction creates a strong bond, effectively replacing the need for sewing. SA hook and loop is well-suited for applications involving PVC/Vinyl substrates.

2. Radio Frequency (RF) Hook & Loop: The High-Tech Fastener RF hook and loop offers a reliable fastening solution by combining hook and loop with the precision of radio frequency (dielectric & ultrasonic) adhesion. This technology creates a strong, durable, and often water-resistant bond. It’s capable of withstanding repeated use thanks to its high cycle life.

3. Iron-On DT-1: The Heat-Seal Option Iron-on DT-1 hook and loop utilizes heat to create a bond, offering a convenient no-sew alternative. It can be applied using either RF or thermo-compressing methods. The strength of the bond depends on the fabric thickness, and it’s important to note that Iron-On DT-1 is washable.
